SALARY: From £49,354 to £61,693 pa dependent on experience

HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to shape and deliver engaging internal communications that keep colleagues informed, connected and aligned to our strategy, culture and business priorities.
This high-impact role will be instrumental in enhancing colleague engagement, supporting organisational change, strengthening leadership communications and ensuring key business messages are communicated effectively through the right channels, at the right time.
What you’ll be doing:

Leading the planning and delivery of strategic internal communications campaigns, projects and initiatives across the business.
- Partnering with senior leaders to shape and communicate key business messages in a clear, engaging and meaningful way.
- Creating communication and engagement strategies that support business objectives, organisational change and colleague understanding.
- Managing and evolving our internal communication channels, including digital platforms, newsletters and colleague updates, ensuring content remains relevant, timely and impactful.
- Leading the delivery of high-profile colleague events, town halls and engagement activities that connect people with our strategy and culture.
- Driving colleague engagement initiatives in partnership with HR and wider business teams, helping create a workplace where people feel informed, involved and inspired.
- Supporting business change and transformation programmes by developing communications that build understanding, encourage adoption and celebrate success.
- Building trusted relationships across the organisation, acting as a communications expert and providing guidance on best practice and effective messaging.

Essential experience & skills:

Proven experience in an Internal Communications, Employee Engagement or Corporate Communications role.
- Experience developing and delivering communication strategies that support business objectives, organisational change and employee engagement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders across the organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels.

Our intranet is powered by SharePoint, so experience using the platform would be an advantage, although it's not essential.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple communications projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience planning and delivering internal events, colleague engagement activities and leadership communications.
