We’re looking for an Asset Risk Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for Residual Value (RV) monitoring, insight and modelling for our Asset Risk team, the RV Setting Forum and Risk.
In this highly analytical role, you'll provide insight and analysis to inform decision making. This role is critical to the delivery of forecasting used RV management, Multi Marque RV as well as building modelling and automation tools
You'll deliver excellent analytical and forecasting work with a direct, tangible impact on business strategy and performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- You'll provide RV Forecasting for used vehicles for Volkswagen Group (VWG) brands, other UK manufacturers and national sales companies to ensure accuracy of loading RV values to POS systems
- Use vehicle information, VWFS Remarketing data and industry data to produce Multi Marque reviews to the RVSF and make recommendations
- You'll input outcomes into the VWFS POS systems and communicate to stakeholders
- You'll design, build and check for compliance of financial modelling techniques to test accuracy of RV setting methodologies, incorporating industry and economic trends
- Take responsibility for the development of our core Asset Risk systems ensuring compatibility with future business requirements and fully optimise processes aligned with this
- You'll need to keep your knowledge and expertise up to date to understand an exploit emerging trends, technologies and legislation
- Constant review and interrogation of processes, systems and procedures to further improve efficiency and productivity of the Asset Risk function

Essential experience & skills
- You can demonstrate your ability to interpret complex problems, formulate solutions and implement technically complex reporting and analytical activities
- Experience of the automotive finance industry and wider commercial acumen
- You can organise your own workload and work autonomously within set deadlines and processes, adapting to managing multiple tasks while maintaining high quality, consistency and accuracy
- You can present confidently and adapt to your audience and, influence others to promote good working practises and be able to influence peers and management buy-in to you analysis and recommendations
- You can tell us about scenarios where your recommendations based on your analysis, have been implemented successfully
