We’re looking for a Senior Fleet Consultant to provide expert consultancy to customers on a wide range of fleet topics including funding, taxation, vehicle strategy, electrification, sustainability, and policy development.
The position supports both new business and existing clients, delivering high-quality advisory services that help organisations navigate complex fleet decisions, optimise costs, reduce carbon impact, and enhance employee benefits.
Working closely with sales and account teams, the role also drives consultancy opportunities, contributes to business growth, and builds strong relationships with senior stakeholders. It involves delivering strategic recommendations, presenting to executive-level audiences, and developing thought leadership across the fleet and mobility sector.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide expert consultancy to customers and prospects, underpinned by a strong understanding of the market landscape impacting fleet operations.

Partner with corporate customers to identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities, recommend initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, strengthen duty of care, and advise on optimal funding solutions aligned to their needs.

Support customers in developing and evolving fleet policies that enhance employee attraction and retention, while ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and emerging mobility and environmental trends.

Deliver high-quality, insight-led outputs that meet customer objectives, presenting clear, evidence-based recommendations supported by robust data analysis.

Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to build a strong pipeline of consultancy opportunities, supporting both new business wins and the growth of existing accounts.

Lead and deliver compelling presentations and reports to senior and executive stakeholders, as well as supporting the implementation of agreed strategies and recommendations.

Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth understanding of key issues affecting fleet operators, including regulatory, environmental, economic, and political developments.

Proactively manage and prioritise a pipeline of opportunities, focusing on activities that deliver the greatest and fastest return on investment for both customers and the business.
What you’ll bring:
You’ll be an experienced fleet or mobility professional with a strong track record of delivering insight-led solutions in a customer-facing environment.
You’ll have a strong focus on delivery and outcomes, with a passion for turning insight into action and driving measurable results.
Essential experience & skills:
- Proven experience applying advanced consultative selling techniques to support the acquisition and retention of business, either in a leading or supporting role.

Strong, in-depth knowledge of fleet and mobility topics, with the ability to apply this expertise in a commercial and customer-focused context.

Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality proposals for audiences at varying levels of seniority, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, concise and compelling messages.

Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (such as Challenger, Solution Selling, or Insight-led Selling), with the ability to apply these approaches effectively.

Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience in developing and presenting business cases, financial proposals and managing initiatives within agreed budgets.

Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex and varied data sets and translate them into actionable insight.

Understanding of market research and customer insight methodologies, with experience in conducting or overseeing research activities.

Ability to translate customer and market needs into deliverable, commercially viable products, services, and solutions.
